Bring home with a smile on my face
Today, Dear Dear will be going to the airforce base for his hearing test and I'm tagging along hehehe...
I remembered the 1st time I went there was more than a year ago, to apply for our military passes...
Wanted to shop for beauty product at BX (Tax Free store) and also to get our Disneyworld and Universal studio tickets for our December trip. (Yes! We are going to Florida!!!)
And I've gotten myself a shopping companion too, Amelia :))) I'm so excited already hehehe...
As her hubby, Seow Tiong will be having his hearing test together with Dear Dear at 1pm...
Dear Dear didn't drive his car to work in the morning, as he car pool with one of his colleague, Nelson.
So my job for the day was to drive our car to Amelia's place at 12pm and her hubby would drive us there, which was an hour away...
The day before, Dear Dear had told me that there's some problem with our car's battery... telling me to take note of it...
When I start up the car... it took me much longer time than usual to start up the engine.
Our car sounded like someone was clearing his throat and having a long cough at the same time **Ah hem.... cough... cough... cough...** Damn scary ok!
Dear Dear had always remind me to warm up the car for at least 5 mins, 1st thing in the morning before driving...
This time round to play safe I let the engine to run for at least 10 mins...
Even though it's a short distant from my apartment to Amelia's place, I'm really afraid that my car would just suddenly die on me in the middle of the road lor...
Heng ar... Nothing happen and it's a smooth drive to the air force base too :)))
After dropping us at the BX store, our hubbies went for their hearing test at the medical centre and it's shopping time LOL...
The store sells variety of things from daily products, clothing and shoes, electrical appliances, branded bags, beauty products etc...
But in the end we ended up at the Origins booth and it took us like forever to decided what we wanted... 'cause all the Origins products are so awesome and so much cheaper!
My new collection of Origins :) Spent about $66(tax free) and gotten a free trial size ginger body cream...
After a few hours of shopping in BX, we went over to the bowling centre to get my Disneyworld and Universal tickets...
Didn't managed to get anything as the Hopper package for Disneyworld was all sold out at the moment :(
Was being told to wait for about 7 - 10 days for the new stack of tickets to arrive... Hopefully I can get it by then *fingers cross*
After about 3 hours of waiting... our hubbies didn't even have the hearing test done yet, and they were being told to leave. What a waste of time lor...
Luckily, Dear Dear don't have to report back to work hehehe...
And after meeting up with our hubbies, we had our lunch at Burger King... Then Dear Dear drove us to the supermarket and did some grocery...
A big thank you to Amelia's coupon, spent about $3 here... It's like getting the Angel Soft and the rest comes with it for free hehehe...
Our shopping fevers were still not over yet LOL... and we were heading our way to Walgreen.
After Dear Dear had dropped us at the store, he actually wanted to head back home 1st to change into his home clothes before fetching us back home...
But he ended up at the car workshop to change the car battery, as he felt that our car was going to die anytime soon...
Spent another $150 for the new car battery... haiz *heart pain*
It's my 1st time "playing" with the register rewards(RR) in Walgreen... Fork out $5.50 on these and got back $4 RR. Which means to say I paid for $1.50 on the stuff...
Mem... but I still prefer shopping in CVS!

Heard that between from 1am to 6am there's meteor shower, not sure if I'm able to stay awake the whole night (Dear Dear was already fast asleep now). But the weather in Dallas doesn't look so good as the whole sky was super cloudy. Well, we'll see...
