These few days have been busy doing some last minute shopping...
Everywhere is having Christmas crazy sales!!!
Will feel so sorry for myself if I didn't join in the crowd, especially this will be my last Christmas in Dallas :(
And today, I've a very fruitful shopping spree *Grinning from ear to ear*
Just last month, VS was giving away their secret reward cards with any $10 purchase, and it claims that it's so secret that the value can only be revealed during checkouts.
The card value: $10, $50,$100 or $500.
I've gotten 3 of them in total, so went to VS to have a little indulgence before the cards expires hehehe...
After spending like an hour in the store, finally got what I wanted, took out all the reward cards and make the payment...
But the cashier told us that we could only use a reward card per transaction, and she offered to help us check the cards' value 1st...
When she's scanning the cards to check out the values, I turned to face Dear Dear and said to him in Mandarin (didn't want the sales girl to know our little conversation), "All the rewards should be in $10 isn't it? It must be a bluff, if not we have to spent a higher amount to get higher card value...". And Dear Dear totally agrees with me...
Then our cashier said something that really surprise us, and those few words took us quite a while to process in our brain too hahaha...
She was like holding the card, shaking it and said, "You've got a $100 value card!"
Omg... this news to me was like striking a lottery lor! Muhahahaha....
Pure luck, I'll always welcome you with open arms!!!!
Went to Origins store too and spend quite a bit there...
It took me forever to decided which products to get... All of them looks so awesome that can really do wonders to you skin!
Wanting me to make up my mind, Dear Dear kept on telling me the mall will be closing soon... making me so panicky... so bad lor :(
Anyways, gotten the help from the sales girl that I should look at the range of white tea facial products (to fight off/preventing aging)...
Dear Dear told me to grab the white tea gift set, which consists of: cleanser, serum (I think) and moisturizer... that cost about $45 (not sure if it's cheap, but of course cheaper than buying individually).
And he also grab the eye cream for me too, said that this completes the essential basic skin care routine... He sounded so professional hor hahaha...
Spent about $75 here after the $10 off coupon... But a pity that I couldn't get their free gift as all of them were already gone in a flash *sob sob*
Will be continuing my Christmas shopping tomorrow morning before Dear Dear heads off to work...
Haven't bought any Christmas gift yet... Not sure what to get *headache headache*
