Off with my bangs

I've been wanting to cut my hair before going to my Sept NYC trip, 'cause my hair was so lifeless and I want to look good for the camera hehehe...

Dear Dear was on night shift today and so I've book an appointment at 11am at the Hair mode Beauty (a Korean hair salon). Have been there once to cut my hair a few months back, and I quite like the hair dresser.

We were 15 mins early and so we went to the nearby Korean market, and they have this mini food court selling all Korean food. The food looks good though, maybe will give it a try one day :)

Wanted to get this Japanese hair cut (I even show it to my hair dresser, Yuki), which I got it from June 2008 ViVi magazine. It's very out dated I know but I still want to try out this hair style. I guess I have been drawn to the model here ba, 'cause she looks so pretty and I wanted to look like her LOL...
Cutting your hair in the States wasn't cheap... it cost me USD$25 which includes hair wash and that is the average price for a neighbourhood salon.
After my hair cut, we went to walmart to get harsh browns for this coming Thursday potluck at Agnes's house. Told Dear Dear to let me drive us there, and along the way I've got so irritated by Dear Dear, 'cause he really got a lot of opinion on my driving lor. In return I gave him a very blackened face and he gotten the hint LOL...

And so this is the out come of my new hair style. I quite like it in the 1st place, but the more I looked at it the more I feel ugly ley... What do you think?
Dear Dear said I look pretty and he likes it, but he described my hair style as "sha gua tuo" lor. *Faint* Dear Dear said that it might be because I'm still not used to the air style yet. I hope he's right hehehe...
Notice the curls at the end of my hair? My hair dresser curl it for me in which she only uses a hair dryer and a round brush and viola! I have those Korean look alike curls :)

After a million times of looking myself in the mirror and hopes tat my hair will grow back over the night, who am I kidding right LOL... It's time to cook for today's dinner.

  • Bean curd stuffed with marinated minced pork.
  • Broccoli with ham and bean sprout.
  • Egg with dried radish (1st time cooking this dish, turns out good)
  • Banana

All Dear Dear's favourite dish... anyways whatever I've cooked he always likes it :) I always have this habit of cooking at least 3 dishes for dinner and they are always good enough for at least 3 persons. So when I packed Dear Dear's food, I always have to force down the container's lid hehehe... Whenever I ask if the food is enough for him, he always replied "my stomach is exploding soon!" LOL...
